Join our Christ-centred learning community as a **Food Studies Assistant**, supporting students and staff through practical service, hospitality, and a heart for excellence in Christian education.

The role supports the Food Studies Teacher by preparing for classes, ensuring compliance with food handling regulations and maintaining clean, safe workstations.

The role is responsible for (but not limited to):

- Lesson setup and cleanup
- Ordering and managing stock
- Supporting catering for school events

**Requirements**:

- Commitment to the mission and values of Oxley Christian College.
- An understanding of the Oxley Christian College context and requirements for ensuring child safety.
- Current or willing to acquire HLTAID009 _Provide CPR_ and HLTAID0011 _Provide First Aid_ certificates (previously 001 and 003).
- Completed or willing to complete _Anaphylaxis Awareness_ training.
- Current Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) and _National Police Certificate_.
- A relevant food handling qualification.

- In accordance with the Oxley Christian College ethos, all employees are required to comply with the College Child Safe Policy and Code of Conduct (available on the College website), and other requirements of the Victorian Child Safe Standards._
- The position requirements, duties and responsibilities involve child-connected work. All employees are required to hold and maintain essential or relevant qualifications, and hold and demonstrate the necessary experience and attributes, in relation to child safety. Hence, employees are expected to provide a child safe environment in accordance with the _Child Safe Standards_._
