**About the Opportunity**

As the Regulatory Specialist, your role will be to provide technical and regulatory support to manage our domestic wine portfolio at our owned sites. You will partner with our wineries and bottling sites from around Australia and New Zealand as a key contact for regulatory compliance, product specifications and artwork approvals in our New Product Development and vintage / product change process.

You will also take accountability for:

- Working with winemakers to evaluate and build product specifications, ensuring our products are safe and compliant with applicable legislation and standards
- Managing the product evaluation process in accordance with the Endeavour Group’s Quality Assurance Framework, approving artwork ensuring our products are safe and compliant with applicable legislation and standards
- Building positive and collaborative working relationships with our wineries and bottling sites to maximise our core business and partnerships
- Leading the regulatory compliance function within the Pinnacle wine new product development process - a trusted early advisor to commercial & technical teams.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key internal and external business partners
- Supporting product quality and regulatory related consumer feedback including monitoring trends and managing investigations

This is a newly created role and can be based from Sydney, Melbourne or close to the Barossa in South Australia. This role will require the occasional travel to visit our wineries and bottling sites, warehouses and stores.

**What you’ll need to succeed**:

- **Expertise in regulations and standards pertaining to wine and other beverages**:

- **Experience working with and maintaining quality management systems and specifications**:

- **Technical experience and knowledge of beverage manufacturing, packaging and supply chain**:

- **Excellent communication and the ability to build strong relationships**:

- **Process improvement methodology - ability to continually refine, simplify and improve our practices**:

- **Problem solving and root cause analysis - ability to lead a facts based approach to solving product issues to achieve successful outcomes for customers, suppliers and the business**:

- **Strong attention to detail, ability to juggle priorities and manage expectations to deliver on time for suppliers and team members.**
