This is an exciting time to participate in and support the growth of ICYMHS and the wider Mental Health Division at Austin Health

**The Mental health Clinician for the Inner North Community Team is a position that will be providing clinical expertise and case management to young people and their families referred into the service. **This is a Grade 2 clinician role.

A regular day will see you:

Engage with young people and their families within clinical settings**:

- ** Work collaboratively with families, co-clinicians and key stakeholders to support referred young people**:

- ** Provide a high-quality evidence based clinical service that is strength based in its approach to client care**:

- ** Provide a clear understanding and practice in the principles of recovery orientated trauma informed and family centered practice**:

- ** Undertake comprehensive assessments together with, formulation, individualised treatment plans, case management and therapeutic care for young people**

To be successful in this role you will bring with you:

A relevant qualification and AHPRA registration and/or eligiability for professional registration (social Work and Speech Pathology)**:

- ** Relevant post-graduate experience in a tertiary mental health setting or other related field with specific experience with young people and families**:

- a recovery-oriented, trauma-informed and family-centred approach
- strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills
- expertise in engaging young people and their families within a clinical setting
- ** commitment to working collaboratively with young people and carers to promote self-determination and progress toward recovery goals**
