Optical Assistant

ProVision Optometry is a boutique independent optometry practice with a strong family-oriented patient base that has been servicing the local and wider community for over 30 years. We take pleasure in providing personalised service and delivering an exceptional standard of eyecare.

**About the role**:
This part-time role is ideal for someone who is seeking a long-term position and can make a difference to our business and customers by bringing energy and retail or admin experience to the job.

We are offering a minimum of 16 hours per week, including Saturday mornings, and the flexibility to work extra hours/days when required to cover absences is crucial to encompass the needs of a small team.

We are looking for someone who can:

- Provide superior customer service when meeting and greeting clients, as well as over the phone with appointment bookings and customer enquiries;
- Offer a positive retail experience and advise on fashion and style during the frame selection process;
- Support our optometrist and practice manager with practice administration tasks.

**About you**:
The ability to multitask and prioritise is a necessity as customer service, administration, and retail are all in a day’s work.

You will also:

- Have a high level of attention to detail;
- Be able to engage and establish rapport with customers;
- Be technically minded with the ability to grasp specialist concepts;
- Be able to speak Greek fluently to enable effective communication with some of our clientele;
- Have a higher certificate of education and retail and/or admin experience.
