**About Us**

Wayside’s Heart Café in Bondi Beach is looking for a passionate Café Front of House manager to nurture, grow and lead a diverse team.

Our food is fresh, wholesome and seasonal with each dish reflecting the unique flavours, colours and lifestyle of Bondi. We have received amazing reviews from Sydney Morning Herald, Broadsheet and Concrete Playground, as well as overwhelming support from the community who believe in what we do.

As a social enterprise the Heart Café forms part of Wayside Chapel’s youth employment program, Wingspan.

We are seeking an energetic, confident and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee day-to-day cafe commercial operations alongside mentoring, coaching and developing the team.

This unique role will allow you to combine your skills and experience in hospitality management and a passion for food and coffee with a real opportunity to make a difference working with one of Sydney’s most loved and respected not-for-profits. This will include helping young people realise their potential within a supportive and caring environment.

**About You**
- Previous experience (minimum two years) as a manager in a hospitality environment
- Strong understanding of effective café operations, including food safety regulations, reviewing and implementing efficient processes
- Ability to lead and motivate staff to perform to the best of their ability to deliver exceptional food and service standards and product knowledge
- Inclusive management style - and a passion for developing staff through goals, support and feedback
- Personable, kind, fun and professional
- Barista skills are desirable but not essential
