Swim Centre Duty Supervisor

**Three permanent, full-time roles are available**:

- **9-day fortnight through Councils’ Rostered Day Off arrangement**:

**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**:
We are looking for three **Swim Centre Duty Supervisors** to join our team You will be a part of our premium Recreational Assets team and will be based at our Council Swim Centres. These roles will be based at either Guildford, Granville, Merrylands and/or Wentworthville.

The successful applicants will provide patrons and hirers of Cumberland Council Swim Centres high-quality customer service and a clean, safe, friendly and well-presented facility. You will achieve this by directing and leading a team of dedicated and committed employees in the daily operations of our swimming facilities such as supervision of lifeguard services, facility maintenance, cleaning, water quality and programme supervision.

**The successful applicant will require**:

- Working with Children Check
- Current Pool Lifeguard Licence
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Relevant experience in an Aquatic supervisory role with a commitment to safe pool practices
- Effective oral/written communication skills
- Quality customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead and work within a team environment.

**Position information**: These are permanent, full-time positions, working a 70 hour fortnight, with **access to Council's 9 day fortnight Rostered Day Off (RDO) arrangement**. This position will be required to work on a rotating roster which includes morning, afternoon and weekend shifts from Monday to Sunday between 4:30am to 8:30pm.

This role is predominantly located across Councils Swim Centres at Merrylands, Guildford, Granville and Wentworthville with occasional travel required across Council worksites, and may be required to work across any of Council’s work locations.

**Salary information**: The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award.

Grade 7 of the Cumberland Salary Structure with a
**salary range of $1,162.65 to $1,337.04 per week, plus 10.5% superannuation.**

The commencing salary will be negotiated, taking into consideration the successful applicant's qualifications, skills and experience related to the role
