**About the role**
As a Cleaner you will be part of the Works and Field and Services team and will be responsible for all aspects of cleaning required. Your main focus will be to provide the efficient and effective cleaning of Council occupied buildings.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- To maintain the building and it's facilities in a clean, hygienic and presentable condition
- To clean all surfaces in the building
- To clean and disinfect toilets and kitchen areas
- Perform any other duties that are reasonably within the competency, skills and training of incumbent as may be directed from time to time by the position’s supervisor

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have:

- A Certificate III in Cleaning or equivalent is desirable
- Good time management and communication skills
- Able to be flexible for various hours/shifts as required
- Ability to work unsupervised and/or small teams
- Preferably has experience in a commercial cleaning environment

A pre-employment medical is required for this position (including a drug and alcohol test)

Council has both casual and part time positions available at grade 8 with a salary package commencing at $58,803 (pro rata) plus superannuation of up to 12.25%.
