Talent International is working in partnership with a large government organisation to assist in sourcing an experienced 'Manager Release - Environments'.

**Key Criteria**:

- Work collaboratively with all participants in software development streams to ensure their production and non-production environments are stable, secure, properly maintained and available for ongoing development effort.
- Contribute to the improvement of software engineering processes and practices to support continuously building, deploying and updating of software and their associated environments.
- Lead the effort of defining and implementing release management tools to ensure efficient and effective management of multiple parallel active environments, including the secure masking of production data when transitioned to non-production environments.
- Manage and advise on interdependencies between systems across environments to ensure integrity of releases can be measured and guaranteed.
- Identify opportunities for new software development and configuration management methodologies and technologies and work with platform owners to implement these systems.
- Place the customer at the centre of all decision making.
- Work with the Line Manager to develop and review meaningful performance management and development plans.
