Strata Cleaning

Waratah Group Services is a well-established business operating for over 20 years with a great reputation providing high quality maintenance services on commercial, government and residential strata properties throughout Sydney.

Waratah Group Services is currently seeking to employ highly motivated individuals to join our commercial cleaning division. These full time roles involve being part of a small team to maintain and continue to enhance our new contracts.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Being part of a small team to complete commercial common area cleaning across multiple sites - please note that this is not domestic and DOES NOT involve cleaning inside people's houses
- Regularly liaising with our Maintenance Operations Manager, Supervisor and clients
- General common area cleaning work - mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cobweb removal, rubbish collection etc.
- Job will include disinfectant cleaning
- Identify issues on site and report back to manager/supervisor/client
- A range of other relevant maintenance works

The successful applicants will possess the following attributes:

- Experience in the cleaning industry is vital, but training is provided
- Current unrestricted drivers licence, with access to a vehicle to get to work
- Tertiary qualification (Cert II or above) in Cleaning desirable but not essential
- The ability to encourage team members to work effectively together
- Good time management and communication skills
- The ability to adhere to company WH&S policies ensuring a safe and productive workplace
- A desire to provide a high quality commercial cleaning maintenance service

All roles come with all equipment required for the job.

**Salary**: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff require to be fully vaccinated due to clients with sensitive residents

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
