Our Exercise Physiology Practice is looking for suitably qualified and enthusiastic person to assist us in meeting the growing demand for our services.

The Role

We are seeking to appoint a full-time, experienced accredited exercise physiologist to meet the needs of our service users. Using your clinical knowledge and best evidence-based practice, you will support clients experiencing diverse barriers to pursue their personal goals and facilitate improved health outcomes. You will have a genuine empathy for others and an enthusiastic approach to your work. Working within the context of our organisation, you will be supported by and add value to, a multi-disciplinary team of community, mental health and disability specialist professionals. Our well
- appointed fitness facility will provide you with all the tools you need to support our clients effectively. We see clients under the following schemes:

- NDIS
- DVA
- Medicare
- WorkCover/ Insurance
- Private Health

Key responsibilities include:

- Ability to build and maintain rapport with clients, client’s families and other health professionals
- Provide evidence-based advice and exercise prescription tailored to individual needs
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment
- Communicating & reporting to other professionals involved in care
- Assess and Review client progress
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Keep up to date records and clinical notes
- Make Claims for compensable services
- Undertake professional development to grow as a practitioner

Required Education and Certifications
- Qualified Exercise Physiologist
- ESSA accreditation
- CPR & current first aid
- Medicare provider number
- Completed COVID-19 vaccination protocol

Offers of employment are contingent on a satisfactory referee report and the following clearances which we can assist you in obtaining.
- Working with children/blue card
- Working with people with disabilities NDIS worker clearance

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
