Strategy Manager

**The Opportunity**:
ENGIE are looking for an experienced Strategy Manager to deliver the Mechanical Services contract which includes delivering exceptional data-driven performance to provide assurance in line with the requirements of the contract to achieve net zero emissions for our university partner and its customers.

**Responsibilities**:
Reporting into the Chief Development Officer, you will:

- Oversee the Mechanical Services contract with our university partner, ensuring integration of traditional work methods with data analytics to deliver outstanding performance, reduced energy consumption and a desirable financial outcome
- Lead the team and define the project vision and communicate the outcomes needed along with guidance to achieve outcome, coordinates team actions across project activities; coordinates flow of additional team members on and off the team as needed; and builds the capability of the team through training, coaching and mentoring.
- Develop new methodologies, commercial structures and contract strategies to deliver data-driven Mechanical maintenance at a precinct/campus scale.
- Develop knowledge of the university campus(es) operations to assist other Net Zero projects being delivered (e.g. District Heating and Cooling, Progressive Power Purchasing).
- Responsible for HSE performance of the contractors/team - mechanical services contract

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:

- Extensive experience in HVAC and Maintenance Management roles with a preference for experience in complex mechanical systems including precinct HVAC management
- Strategic mindset with experience developing and adapting work processes to deliver improved results
- Experience developing and deploying energy efficiency measures in a HVAC environment
- Experience in successfully negotiating and delivering complex portfolio of projects
- Demonstrated ability in building enduring relationships with stakeholders and customers
- Effective communications skills with the ability to deliver compelling presentations to senior business executives
- Well developed networking skills with a proven ability to build strong relationships at different levels both internally and external to the organisation
