The apprentice electrician will be trained to conduct Installation of electrical equipment, cables and system, and other general daily tasks including location case building and receiving - collating materials.
**Responsibilities**:
- Undertake practical training at our workshop facility and at various work sites;
- Undertake theoretical training at College of Electrical Training;
- Promote health, safety and environmental within and around the work place;
- Assist site works, install cabling, terminations and commissioning activities;
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of electrical signalling systems;
- Perform manual tasks associated with installation works.
- Work within a team harmoniously, providing support to the crew with assistance to completing daily tasks.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential
Training towards achieving;
- Previous experience with hand power tools
- Valid driving licence - preferably manual
- Attention to detail & organization skills
- Trusted to follow work instructions and safety procedures and attend work regularly
Preferred
- Construction White / Blue Card
- Rail Industry workers card
