**Forklift / Labourer**

We are seeking a **truck wash / forklift / labourer **to work in a recycling plant as in the **Altona area.**

We will provide on the job training in all aspects of job / related safety / stores procedure.

This will ideally suit someone who is looking to work **full time** with the prospect of becoming a mobile construction plant operator.

**Key tasks**

**Truck wash**

**Forklift driving**

**Receiving deliveries and putting them away in the store**

**Labouring duties**

General **housekeeping**

**About you**:

- Similar **experience in a labouring role**.
- **Physically fit and able to be on your feet most of the day**.
- Current **forklift licence**.
- Knowledge and experience in the use of **hand and power tools**.
- Good **communication **skills.
- Hold a current **Driver’s License with own** reliable transport.
- **Own PPE** - hard hat/ hi viz long sleeve shirt / long pants / steel cap boots.
- 10% of the time you will be wearing **breathing apparatus, Tyvek suit, gumboots which will be provided to you onsite.**

All applicants must be entitled to work in Australia and be prepared to do a pre-employment drug & alcohol testing if required.

**Salary**: $32.00 - $33.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Altona, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- labouring: 3 years (preferred)

- Forklift Licence (required)
