We are looking for an Associate to join our Wealth Adviser Services team - an aspiring Financial Adviser who is motivated to grow their career in Financial Planning. Our people drive Findex, and we are currently on the hunt for a new generation of talent who are motivated to help drive growth and innovation within our business.

Based in Ballarat and reporting to our Wealth Partner, this opportunity will set an Associate on the pathway to becoming an Adviser, while supporting experienced Advisers/Partners to provide strategic financial planning and investment advice to clients. You will be the point of contact for many client queries and will be given the opportunity to take on more independence and autonomy with your own client base as you develop and grow in the role.

**In your role of an Associate, you will**:

- Proactively communicate with clients and determine how Findex can best meet their needs
- Support your team members in achieving their growth objectives
- Assist your team in providing strategic financial planning and investment advice including, investment structures, estate planning, superannuation and retirement planning
- Prepare pre-appointment work and participate in client meetings with Advisers/Partners
- Ensure advice documents are compliant and in line with industry legislation, regulation and group policies and procedures
- Coordinate production of Advice documentation and use fact finds to write and/or liaise with Adviser Support to prepare SOAs

**OK, let’s talk about you. You will have the following**:

- FASEA approved degree
- Diploma or Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning qualified or equivalent
- An interest in achieving or studying towards CFP
- 2 + years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise your workload
- A positive, proactive and results orientated approach to your work
- The ability to work and thrive in a team environment
