**Available Roles**:
**Kitchen hand (NEW Role)**: Sat to Sun, 10:00am to 2:00pm, 8 hrs/week
**Catering Assistant**: Sat to Sun, 7:00am to 2:00pm, 13 hrs/week
**Description**:
**The Role**:
Cater Care seeks to appoint a Catering Assistant and a Kitchen Hand at one of our key aged care residences in Greenacre
**Roster**:
Role # 1 Sat to Sun 10:00 to 14:00 Kitchen Hand new position, 8hrs
Role # 2 Sat to Sun 0700 to 14:00 CA existing position, 13hrs
**What This Role Involves**:
Assisting with food preparation
Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude
Prepare and present texture modified foods
**Skills and Experiences**:
Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
