**About the Role**

We are currently seeking to appoint a Labourer with a leading NSW Government agency.

Key accountabilities
- Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, removal and transport of furniture and equipment as required in accordance with Work, Health and Safety (WH&S) practices, and the replacement of defective lighting where practicable in accordance with approved WH&S standards and procedures.
- Maintaining, cleaning, oiling and painting of small tools, machines and equipment used within the work area as required.
- Perform general housekeeping of toolstore, equipment store, workshop areas, storage areas and grounds as required.
- Undertaking other duties relevant to the position as required.
- Ensure the core NSW public sector values of cultural diversity, equity and ethical practice, and a healthy, safe and fair workplace.
- Perform the full range of duties of a Tool storeperson (classroom only)
- Monitor stock levels of required materials and consumables.
- Assisting with the security of TAFE equipment within the work area as directed.
- Preparing, issuing, receipting and recording of tools, equipment and materials required by students and staff for the conduct of classes.
- Undertake forklift driving requirements
- Manual Tasks as directed

**About You**
- Physically able to work the position
- Current Drivers License and preparedness to drive a vehicle while performing this role
- Current forklift License and undertaking forklift driving duties
- National Criminal History Record Check in accordance with the Disability Inclusion Act 2014
