Automotive Apprentice

You will be working full time 38 hours per week, Monday - Friday + overtime available
- Get qualified - Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology
- Adult apprentices or _experienced_ Junior apprentices are encouraged to apply
- (Important - this opportunity is for a 3rd or 4th year Apprentice OR highly skilled 2nd year Apprentice)_

**With the support of qualified trades people, you will be**:

- Servicing and repairing mechanical parts for road transport vehicles such as trucks, buses and earthmoving equipment
- Repairing and servicing cooling systems and diesel fuel systems
- Repairing and servicing steering and suspension systems
- Discussing with clients to detect faults
- Any other tasks requested by the host employer

**Applicants will ideally meet the following criteria**:

- Be eligible to continue your apprenticeship
- IZUZU experience is _highly regarded_
- Have a keen interest in vehicles, mechanics, and the motor industry
- Attention to detail
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Physically fit
- No skin allergies (due to working with grease, oil or petrol)
- Manual Drivers license and reliable transport
- Be well presented, enthusiastic, reliable and punctual
- Be motivated with a positive attitude
- Take the safety of yourself and your team members seriously
