We are looking for a passionate, committed and incredible sales expert to join our team in the role of managing our amazing original store in Brunswick, whilst also taking ownership of our wholesale business.

We are looking for a passionate, committed and incredible sales expert to join our team in the role of managing our amazing original store in Brunswick, whilst also taking ownership of our wholesale business. This role is part-time across 4 days, with flexibility for full-time/5 days depending on the applicant. Within this role you will be responsible for the overall performance of your department, achieving (and exceeding) goals, and that you and your team are providing exceptional service. You will be confident managing your boutique autonomously and in driving sales to improve overall results.

You will be an active, involved, and integral part of our team and will be actively contributing to the business, improving systems and procedures, and working on opportunities to grow your departments and the business.

You are focused, efficient, super-organised, and an excellent multi-tasker. Building and maintaining personal relationships is imperative, as is managing many tasks at once, staying on top of them all with ease. Strong written and verbal communication is extremely important, as is a strong and individual sales technique. We e expect you to be a leader and mentor to your staff, and always advocate and hold to the best interests of the business.

This role will also encompass Wholesale Management, where you will be responsible for building on Kuwaii’s wholesale customer base and leading seasonal selling meetings with buyers from current and potential stockists.

Key Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of managing a boutique retail store
- Proven successful experience in store management
- Proven sales philosophy
- Powerful leading skills and business orientation
- People and customer management skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and mentor staff
- Ability to propose innovative ideas to increase market share
- Vend experience is a plus
- Wholesale or B2B experience looked favourably on

Brunswick Store Manager

As a role model for the team and business, you will need to demonstrate superb sales leadership skills in respect to building your personal customer base and VIPs, driving customer retention rates and up-selling to ensure that all sales opportunities are maximised. While ensuring that the Kuwaii 'Why' is maintained and communicated at all times.

As a leader you will take ownership in leading your team, ensuring that they have exceptional brand and product knowledge while also ensuring that they deliver the highest level of customer service. You will be responsible for building a highly motivated team, whilst driving and implementing strategies to maximise product performance by leveraging visual merchandising, staff training and customer service.
- Maintain the highest level of customer care and operational performance of your boutique.
- Consistently drive sales through communication and motivation.
- Uphold the KUWAII brand by providing leadership, coaching and performance feedback to all team members.
- Effective management of inventory and financials, loss prevention and average sale amount.
- Work with and provide feedback to the Manager and Designer/Owner to strategically improve customer experience, products and services.
- Develop an understanding of the customer profile for the store to enhance upsells, and promotional opportunities and increase sales.
