**About the Opportunity**
Due to consistent growth across our business, Nordon Cylinders is now seeking an experienced Storeperson to join our high performing team in Brendale QLD 4500.

This role will see you responsible for the receiving, handling and dispatch of goods in stores and warehouses in order to support branch operations whilst also assisting in the control of stock.

Your responsibilities will also include;
- Load and unload any deliveries from transport companies that require a forklift
- Check off inbound deliveries as they are received, ensuring the quality is good and we have received the correct product and quantity as per our purchase order (including measuring and checking the diameter of steel)
- Receipt all delivery dockets into our network system and contact the supplier if there are any discrepancies
- Ensure all orders received are placed in the correct location for collection
Wrap, strap and pack all outgoing order as so they will be received in good condition
- Dispatch orders to our customers by organising the preferred transport company for that delivery and have all paperwork ready for collection (including measuring and weighing items for dispatch and photographing all outgoing freight)
- Invoice Sales Orders and ensure all orders are as per the customer purchase order prior to dispatching
- Complete the electronic Shipping Manifest as orders are dispatched
- Monthly inventory stock take
- Prepare Transport company invoices for payment (weekly).

**About You**
To be considered for this role, you will possess;
- Experience working as a Storeperson within a Warehousing environment
- A working knowledge of warehouse practices
- Able to work well autonomously and within a team and follow directives with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Strong attention to detail, effective communication and time management skills
- Sound computer literacy in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ERP systems experience
- Valid Drivers Licence and Forklift ticket
- Demonstrated safety first mindset and a desire to develop a long standing career within the Berendsen business.
