The Fitness Instructor (FI) is paid under the MA000094 award rate Level 3A or alternatively under a separate individual contract arrangement. An FI is expected to be able to work without supervision within the remit of their authority and qualifications. An FI will report to the Senior Fitness Instructor and the Facility Manager. An eligible FI is responsible for maintaining the following qualifications:
1. Certificate III in Fitness

2. In-date First Aid and CPR

An FI employed will be expected to be able to conduct all duties and responsibilities expected of a Senior Gym Hand on top of duties expected of them individually. These duties include:
1. Group Class Facilitation

2. Teaching “trainee staff” the roles of all positions within the gym.

3. Ensuring all class taking equipment is maintained to the highest standards

**Job Types**: Casual, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $24.69 - $71.72 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
