You will be joining a global award-winning professional services firm. This company is looking for a dynamic and proactive ESG Consultant to join their fast-growing organisation.

**A day In the Life of an ESG Consultant**

Consult various assurance/audit engagements focusing on greenhouse gas emissions, energy and environment fields. Assist clients on reasonable and limited assurance engagements under the Emissions Reductions Fund (ERF), National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Scheme (NGERS) and the Renewable Energy Target (RET).

**Key duties**:

- Provide training and mentoring to audit teams.
- Liaise and report the key areas of engagement to various stakeholders.
- Draft audit/assurance reports and management letters that provide pragmatic and commercial recommendations and business solutions/advice.
- Contribute to meetings and make effective presentations.

**Desired Experience**:

- 3+ year's advisory or assurance experience ideally within Professional Services, open to relevant industry experience.
- Relevant tertiary degree or equivalent e.g., engineering, environmental science etc.
- Greenhouse gas auditing experience in ENEGA scheme, Emissions Reduction Fund (ERF) would be highly advantageous.
- Climate active accreditation would be beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
- Sound understanding of emissions, environment, energy compliance and reporting legislations/requirements.
- An understanding of risk management concepts (mitigation, risk assessment, remediation).
- An understanding of the principles of the ISO 31000 Risk Management Standard.
- Qualification - Registered greenhouse gas and energy auditor level 2.
