Trend Windows is currently seeking Production Workers / Factory Hands to join our team at our Bayswater manufacturing facility.

Experienced preferred but not necessary.

Uniforms including steel capped work boots will be provided following 6 month probationary period.

To be considered you must have the following attributes:

- Strong commitment to safety
- Strong work ethic
- Be available 5 days a week on day shift (Mon-Fri 6.00am - 2.30pm)
- Work additional hours (O/T) to suit increase in work load
- Able to communicate clearly
- Experience using Pneumatic hand tools (desirable but not essential)
- Quality focused - high attention to detail

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Safe Work Practices**: Take accountability for your own and others safety. Maintain a safe, supportive and hazard free work environment whilst working in a safe manner at all times in accordance with Company WHS procedures and practices.

2. **Production**: To work as part of a team to carry preparation for production of quality products in accordance with company standard operating procedures, in a timely manner to ensure production meets our customer requirements and internal targets / KPI's.

3. **Housekeeping**: To maintain good housekeeping practices so that all work environments are maintained to 5S/standard.

5. **General Duties**: Actively contribute to broader team plans and responsibilities, through multi-skilling and carrying out other duties that may be required from time to time.

**Knowledge, Skills, Experience**:

- **
Safe Work Practices**: Demonstrated experience to carry out safe work practices with 100% compliance to company WHSE practices, safe work instructions and wearing required PPE.
- ** Production processes**: Demonstrated ability or aptitude to carry out technical requirements of roles. Previous experience working safely with machinery, tooling, manufacturing and manual handling processes, daily and hourly reporting, to produce quality work to standard operating procedures.
- ** Manual handling capacity**: Strength and physical capability. Ability to carry out manual handling aspects of role safely - floor to waist, floor to shoulder, reaching, pushing and pulling limitations. Active range of movement - neck, trunk, knee, ankle, shoulder, elbow and wrist.
- ** Solid work ethic**: Takes pride in work completed and presentation of work areas, accountability for completing assigned work within accepted timelines, and punctual
- ** Flexible and adaptable**:Willingness to be flexible with scope of duties and hours of operation, through multi-skilling, embracing work changes that drive continuous improvement, support coverage of absences, and occasional additional hours to meet peak workloads.
- ** Seeks to improve**:Open to change and embracing continuous improvement practices. Acknowledges that contributions from all to look for opportunities to improve, contributes to the long term success of company and ensures it remains competitive.
