Irrigation Installer

Are you skilled in wiring / diagnosing motor control panels, a plumber background or motor mechanic looking for a change? This might just be the role for you We will train you many new skills on the job.

We also require excellent customer service throughout the retail and installation side of the company.

Type of installations include:

- Agricultural Centre Pivots, Lateral move irrigators, fixed and portable farm irrigation systems, Municipal Sporting field popup sprinkler systems, Farm livestock watering systems, domestic water supply pumping and filtration systems.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

- Site preparation including digging trenches with machinery such as mini loaders, excavators, trenching machines, ensuring alignment and grading.
- Laying pipes, installing pipes valves, sprinklers and control systems, based on design plans and specifications.
- Installation, maintenance and repairs of residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural Irrigation and Pumping systems.
- Test conductions to ensure proper functioning of the irrigation systems.
- Troubleshooting and repair work, identifying and resolving leaks, clogged pipes, malfunctions, damages.
- Perform maintenance tasks such as replacing worn out parts, adjusting sprinkler heads, cleaning filters to ensure optimal system performance
- Interact with clients to understand their needs and provide guidance on usage and maintenance.

Skills and Experience:

- Willing to engage in continuous learning the enhance skills and knowledge of new systems and technologies.
- Some knowledge/experience of wiring, diagnosing and repair motor control panels, plumbing and pipefitting or similar.
- Problem-solving ability
- Precision and attention to detail ensuring correct function and installation.

Advantageous:

- HC Drivers licence
- Experience in operating machinery such as trenching machines, mini loaders, bobcats and excavators.

Pay: $45,199.48 - $108,147.71 per year
