Maintenance Officer

**About the Role**:
We are excited to offer a full-time position for a Maintenance Officer at our beautiful facility in St. Paul's. As part of our team, you'll work closely with the Maintenance Manager, undertaking both preventative and corrective maintenance tasks throughout the residence. This includes equipment and plant monitoring, grounds upkeep, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

**Your part in Bene Aged Care**:

- Perform repairs and general maintenance tasks, including painting, carpentry, and minor equipment repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to uphold the safety and functionality of the facility.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize disruptions and ensure resident satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and families, demonstrating empathy and understanding of the needs of aged residents.

- Proficiency in Italian (desirable).

**Essential requirements**
- COVID-19 vaccinations and seasonal influenza vaccinations (highly recommended)
- Evidence of the right to work in Australia.
- Current National Police Clearance.
- Driver's License.
