We currently have an exciting position sitting within our IT Team. We are seeking an enthusiastic IT Coordinator reporting directly to our Chief Information and Technology Officer (CITO). Our CITO is currently working on a number of exciting projects and initiatives and is looking for a right hand to help him on this journey.
**Some of your duties will be, but not limited to**:
- Coordinate IT initiatives ensuring successful completion of operational activities with appropriate resourcing, monitoring IT cost centre budget
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to plan IT initiatives across the business including disaster recovery testing
- Oversee IT team yearly calendar, including scheduling operational activities such as onboarding ring-fenced businesses, onsite hardware upgrades and communications
- Improve efficiencies of the various day-to-day processes
- Support IT hardware ordering processes
- Draft and oversee IT communications and content published for internal stakeholders including newsletters, Workplace posts and vendor updates
- Communicate clearly, effectively and in a timely manner with vendor or procurement issues that impact the operations of IT team
To be successful, you will be a highly organised individual with strong attention to detail and have experience supporting top level executives and working in a high functioning team. You will have:
**Essential**
- Minimum five years’ experience in a team coordinator / assistant or project coordinator role
- Experience answering and actioning complex and diverse queries using a wide range of information sources.
- Commercially minded.
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Intermediate - advanced skills in all Microsoft Office products.
- Intermediate - advanced skills in Microsoft SharePoint or ability to learn on the job.
- General knowledge of IT terminology and key vendors
- Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and flexibly, managing and prioritising own workload.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, high attention to detail.
**Desirable**
- Experience in working in medium/large organisation
- Experience supporting projects
