We have an exciting opportunity for a highly capable Data Analyst who is a whiz with spreadsheets to provide support and business insights through the delivery of data extraction, analysis and reporting to ensure we maintain highly effective transaction processing, acquiring and settlement operations functions.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Analysing transaction settlement variances.
- Supporting business users with database analysis, report generation and updates.
- Developing data extracts via SQL Server Agent jobs.
- Ensuring systems have documentation in place to protect from single points of failure.
- Diagnosing and resolving issues.
- Developing SQL queries and stored procedures in order to extract/ analyse data sources.
- Internal and external reporting support.
- Processing terminal media adjustments.
- Reconciliation of data extract files between payment systems to determine if there are any client settlement variances.

**You will need**:

- 2-3 years’ experience with creating and running database queries in SQL database/ Query Studio or similar tools.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel
- Understanding / experience working in payments/ transaction processing/ acquiring environments.
- Demonstrated capability to extract data, conduct analysis and provide insightful and actionable reports.
- Logical approach to problem solving and creating data insights.
- Excellent communication skills (listening, written, verbal and presentation)
- Ability to work effectively both in teams and independently.
- Work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of Command Line
