**Community Support Worker (Casual)**

Our growing team in Perth is seeking passionate, experienced and skilled Support Workers to join our vibrant team.

A Community Support Worker is responsible for assisting participants within the NDIS funding framework in attaining their goals and increasing their independence and participation within the community.

**About the Role**

**Positions**: 4

**Locations**:Sout of River & North of river

**Pay range**:$30.00 to $38.00 per hour

**Responsibilities within the role include**:

- Assist individuals with disabilities to access their community, participate in social and recreational activities, and attend appointments
- Provide practical support with activities of daily living, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Assist with transportation to and from appointments, activities and events
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals with disabilities
- Advocate for the needs of individuals with disabilities, ensuring their rights and needs are respected and met

**You will need**:
To be successful you will have the following key attributes:

- Excellent communication skills
- Cert III in individual Support (disability) or Cert IV in disability (highly desirable)
- A NDIS worker Check (or willing to obtain one)
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
- Working with Children check
- WA Drivers Licence and a reliable vehicle.
- COVID vaccinations (with booster)
