**Your new role awaits**

Coates Mitchell branch is looking for a **Mechanical Trades Assistant** to join our team.

The role is responsible for the inspection and reporting of damage to incoming hire equipment, and ensuring equipment is ready, fit for purpose, and safe for its next hire assignment.

**A typical day for you**
- Perform basic equipment operational checks
- Minor repairs and adjustments and the use of test instruments
- Assist in keeping workshop clean, tidy, and safe
- Loading and unloading equipment for customers
- Assisting mechanics/electricians with major repairs
- Providing customer service and admin support in the office

**What you’ll bring to the role**

Mechanical trade qualification isn’t required, however, previous experience servicing vehicles, engines, small plant, landscaping equipment or similar will be beneficial for this role.
- Drivers Licence - essential
- Forklift - desirable
- Mechanically minded
- Keen sense of attention to detail
- Computer literate
- Be physically fit
