**Join Our Pioneering Team as an Inklings Practitioner - Empower Families with Groundbreaking Early Intervention Strategies**

Are you an Occupational Therapist or Speech Pathologist with a passion for early childhood development and a desire to make a real difference in the lives of young children and their families? Join us in delivering the Inklings Pilot Program, an innovative early intervention initiative for infants with developmental delays in social, emotional, and communication skills. As part of this exciting program, you'll help families understand and support their baby's unique communication needs, using a combination of in-person, clinic, and telehealth services.

The Inklings Program, supported by the South Australian and Commonwealth Governments, is being piloted over 2.5 years to assess its effectiveness, feasibility, and acceptability. As an Inklings Practitioner, you'll be a critical part of this journey, using your skills and expertise to help shape the future of early intervention.

**About the Role**:
As a **Senior Inklings Practitioner (AHP3)**, you will take on a leadership role within the Inklings Pilot Program, using your extensive clinical expertise to oversee complex cases and mentor less experienced professionals. You will collaborate with other Allied Health Clinical Seniors and multi-disciplinary teams, driving quality improvement and innovation within the program.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing clinical supervision and support to less experienced allied health professionals, assistants, and students.
- Taking the lead in research and evaluation to inform continuous improvement in clinical practice and program delivery.
- Representing RMCLHN on relevant committees and actively contributing to service development and project management.
- Ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to families, with a focus on preventative and early intervention strategies for infants with developmental delays.

As an **Inklings Practitioner (AHP2)**, you will be responsible for providing direct clinical care to infants aged 6-18 months and their caregivers, supporting them as they develop their communication skills. This role involves delivering 1:1 interventions, empowering caregivers to become responsive communication partners for their babies through short video feedback and guided strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

- Delivering intensive 1:1 sessions with families, helping them understand and respond to their child's communication needs.
- Working under reduced clinical direction, taking initiative while contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of the program.
- Collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the success of the program and support families in rural and remote areas.
- This role offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of an innovative pilot program that will impact the future of early childhood intervention.
