Position: Casual Sales Assistant

Location: Mount Druitt, NSW

Availability: Tuesday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM and Saturdays, 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Casual Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team at a health and supplement store in Mount Druitt. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about health, fitness, and customer service, with flexibility in working hours.

Key Responsibilities:

- Customer Assistance: Provide excellent customer service by helping customers with product selection, offering advice on supplements, and answering any queries related to health and fitness.
- Sales & Transactions: Process sales transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system and handle cash and card payments.
- Store Opening & Closing: Assist with store opening and closing procedures, ensuring the store is ready for customers at the beginning of each shift and secure at the end of the day.
- Stock Management: Conduct regular stock takes, ensure stock is well-organized on shelves, and restock products as needed.
- Admin Support: Assist with basic administrative tasks such as inventory management, stock ordering, and maintaining store records.
- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest trends in health, fitness, and supplements (prior knowledge is a plus but not required) to better assist customers.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Preferred Experience: Previous experience in retail or customer service, particularly in health, fitness, or supplements, is an advantage but not essential.
- Customer-Focused: Strong communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, including stock taking and handling customer queries.
- Team Player: Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Fitness Knowledge: An interest in fitness, supplements, or health is preferred but not required.
