Karlka FenceWright is one of Australia's leading fencing companies, specialising in the supply and installation of Chainmesh,Garrison & Palisade security fencing.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an Experienced Leading Hand - Fencing Contractor to join our installation teams, based in our Geebung Office (QLD).

As part of your duties, you will be installing chain wire, rural fencing, garrison and palisade security fencing throughout South East QLD. Some travel will also be required in this position.
- Have a valid Drivers License
- Have a Construction White Card
- Have Experience in Chainmesh, Garrison and Palisade security fencing.
- Work independently and in a team environment
- Follow safety and quality requirements
- Previous management experience will be highly regarded.

**PRIMARY FUNCTION**

To oversee the installation of fencing and gates that meet project requirements as directed by the Project Manager

**DUTIES**

Comply with all relevant QHSE policies & procedures including Installation Control, Vehicle Loading and Unloading, Fatigue Management procedure.

Direct employees and/or sub-contractors on each day’s activities and monitor their performance.

Ensure all installation staff comply with the policies and procedures and meet the requirements.

Ensure compliance with all the controls defined in the signed SWMS / JHA

Install products as per the drawings supplied.

Ensure worksite is maintained in an orderly manner to minimise safety risks and potential accidents.

Make safe any hazards and report safety hazards to the Project Manager.

Respond to any other requests made by the Project Manager

Ensure all equipment is operated in a manner which meets legal obligations, the manufacturer’s recommended operating procedures and maximises its economical life.

Ensure that any unsafe work practices or hazards are remedied and/or reported to the Project Manager.

**Salary**: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
