Experienced Butcher

Zambezi Meats operates 2 butcher stores in Engadine and Helensburg NSW.

We are looking for an **experienced Butcher** to join our friendly and hardworking team in a dynamic food-focused environment The successful applicant must be flexible enough to work at both locations, demonstrate outstanding organisational abilities and possess superior customer service skills.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Stock Management including ordering & shrinkage control
- Precise cutting & portioning of meat
- Continuous product innovation
- Prepare retail displays & merchandising
- Meat packaging and quality control
- Comply with HACCP & food safety protocols

**To be successful in this role you will need to**:

- Be a qualified butcher by trade
- Have previous experience in butchery management
- Have strong knife skills and high attention to detail
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Be passionate about food and cooking
- Be customer focused and always striving to deliver the best customer service.
- Be self-starter, reliable, team focused and able to work under pressure
- Have a high standard of personal presentation and cleanliness
- Be able to make the most of every sales opportunity
- Have full Australian work rights

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
