**The Company**: Mobility Engineering is Australia’s largest Automotive Assistive Technology Supplier. We are a small firm of 14 people and we provide products and services to make lives of Disabled and Elderly Australians better and easier when in the community. We have a nationwide presence with a network of installers all around the country that fit our products and help Australians become more independent. Our company is well involved in the high growth NDIS space offering numerous potential career progression pathways. **The Role**: The role is a Technical Advisor/Support role. In this role you responsible for ensuring the customer service of both mechanical and electronic support for the installation of disability and mobility equipment and products. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as well as research and development of solutions to support the needs of Mobility Engineering end-users and partners whilst carried out in line with our vision, mission and values. Providing support systems and developing support documentation to help our network of installers. **Skills and Experience** Any electronic and mechatronic experience is desired but it is not essential, trade and post graduate qualifications will put you in front of others. We are a values-based company, a "can-do attitude" is a must We are looking for someone who is very positive and able to work alone/autonomously as the senior managers can often be interstate our out of the office. - The following skills are a must: - Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, Internet Explorer - Ability to read, interpret and convey technical instructions and drawings, especially electronic diagrams. - Proficient writing skills, ability to provide written reports and technical documents. - Passion for talking to customers and performance of follow up support tasks - Being organised and punctual - Attention to detail - Ability and willingness to follow instructions - A positive "can-do" attitude **The Workplace Culture and Benefits**: Mobility Engineering is a relaxed, flexible, open minded, family friendly and supportive environment, with a strong focus on staff development, empowerment, education and FUN, our view is that if we are not having fun, then there is no point in coming to work We work hard but also engage in a lot of out of work team building activities.
