**About the role**
The Finance officer develops reports, analysis and provides Financial Advice to Stakeholders to support the development, implementation and continued monitoring of financial management to ensure program costs, accruals and forecasts are accurately recorded and reported.

**Key accountabilities**
- Ensure the implementation of systems and strategy to ensure finance and performance reporting operational outcomes are viable.
- Support the Agency in budget processes and the development of business cases and reports.
- Preparation of Financial Statements.
- Maintaining relations with various stakeholders.
- Create project cost reports and transaction summaries using systems
- Develop budgets, forecast and various projections to deliver on the Agencies business strategic objections.
- Ensure invoicing is processed accurately for Project Expenditure and Operational expenditure.
- Contribute to process and systems improvements.
- Provide expertise of financial acts and regulations with the understanding of accounting principles, standards, and practices.
- Ensure purchase order’s are accurate and approved via management, using the projects Work/cost breakdown structure
- Managing the closure of purchase orders

**About you**
- 3-5 years relevant working experience in a construction, infrastructure or resource project with Stakeholder engagement experience.
- SAP Experience
- Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills.
- Proficiency in MS suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
- Available for immediate start.
- Citizen or permanent resident of Australia.
- Per government guidelines, all contractors must be fully vaccinated or provide medical exemption.
