Disability Support Worker

**About Us**

At Silverstar Care Disability Support Services we aim to provide participant centred care. Our priority is to provide care that is specific and holistic to the needs of participants living with disabilities. We are located in the Northern Suburbs.

**About Role**
- Disability support worker is required for a participant who needs community access.
- He mobilises but maybe incontinent but physically, is well.
- Needed is **a male** support worker to assist the participant with all needs and community access.
- Support worker must be empathetic to all our participants.

**Requirements**:
Applicants must have:

- Relevant Qualifications (min of Cert 3 in Disability or applicable field)
- CPR & First Aid
- Police check
- Working with children
- NDIS check
- Manual handling
- APHRA registration

**Job Type**

Casual permanent

**Location**

Craigieburn, Kilmore, Wallan, Shepparton, Bendigo, Epping, Melbourne, Preston, other areas as required.

**Salary** - $25 - $35 depending on experience

**Permitted to work in Australia with no restrictions**

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Craigieburn, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Support Worker: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: One location
