**About the role**

The Master Scheduler is responsible for overseeing all project timelines and resource allocations. Working closely with project managers, this role ensures consistent workflow and effective team workload management to achieve agreed milestones. The position coordinates scheduling activities and provides insights on resource requirements to support organisational objectives.

The role demands advanced technical expertise in MS Project and Project Centre—leveraging baselining, resource levelling, critical path analysis, and advanced reporting to deliver governance-ready insights.

The Master Scheduler also translates schedule analytics into compelling, executive-ready narratives that drive evidence-based decisions, while coaching project managers in schedule ownership to build organisational capability and ensure compliance and alignment with PMO standards.

**About You**

You will be proficient in maintaining and monitoring master schedules, ensuring accuracy, alignment, and integration across complex delivery portfolios and will also bring strategic integration ability to consolidate project timelines, interdependencies, and portfolio-level roadmaps into a single source of truth for effective governance.

**To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate**:

- Degree in a relevant discipline, or significant experience relevant to financial management in a large organisation.
- Proven track record in successfully providing master scheduling PMO services for a range of Systems Group and transformation programs.
- Well-developed analytical and reporting skills.
- Sound knowledge of project management disciplines and methodology.

**Highly Regarded**
- Advanced expertise in MS Project and Project Centre, including mastery of baselining, resource levelling, critical path analysis
- Proficiency in maintaining and monitoring master schedules, ensuring accuracy, alignment, and integration across complex delivery portfolios.
- Coaching and leadership skills to build project managers’ capability in schedule ownership, fostering discipline, compliance, and alignment
- Experience in aligning project schedules with portfolio-level roadmaps (strategic integration).
- Demonstrated skills in using data storytelling to transform schedule analytics into executive-ready insights.
