Due to an increase in demand for compost an exciting opportunity exists for Front end loader driver/ general labourer to join the SA Mushrooms Team at our Compost Yard facility in Lower Light. If you are keen to learn, have an interest in horticulture and farming, and have your own transport then this could be the job for you

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
You will be performing a variety of duties including operating plant and equipment to move material through the various stages of production.
- Operate on-site plant and equipment as required
- Maintain all plant and equipment to SA mushrooms standards
- Maintain all buildings, grounds and roadways
- Complete records and paperwork accurately as directed and required

You will also be required to perform safety checks and preventative maintenance on equipment such as loaders, forklift, conveyor belts, hoppers etc. including greasing, cleaning, refueling and refilling various fluids

**Skills and tickets**:

- Driver’s licence is essential
- Loader, forklift, truck licence preferred but not essential
- Mechanical aptitude
- Good communication skills
- A strong commitment to safety
- A keen eye for detail and quality of product for 100% customer satisfaction
- You will be required to perform pre start and safety checks, preventative maintenance on equipment such as loaders, forklift, conveyor belts, hoppers etc. including greasing, cleaning, refuelling and refilling various fluids.
