**Job Description**:
Our Industries & Environment division is seeking motivated and proactive individuals with a can-do attitude to join the Construction Material Testing (CMT) team on a fly-in fly out (FIFO) basis. This opportunity will provide you with extensive experience in testing and analysis of construction material within our Malaga laboratory, as well as the opportunity to work on our Project and Regional Sites.
**As part of this role you will be required to**:
- Prepare samples for testing, perform routine testing and analysis of samples
- Collect and log samples
- Perform routine calibration, maintenance and setup of equipment
- Take ownership for prioritising and expediting samples in the laboratory to meet turnaround time
- Prepare and sign off on final reports and issue completed reports to the client
- Assist with the supervision and development of other technicians on site, through providing mentoring, technical guidance and training
- Liaise with clients in relation to day-to-day scheduling of test requests, reporting, job prioritisation and results
**Qualifications**:
- WA C Class Drivers Licence (mandatory)
- Diploma in Laboratory Techniques (desired)
- Extensive experience working within a laboratory environment (desired)
- Proven capability in operating a laboratory independently
- Approved NATA Signatory status (highly desirable)
- Nuclear Densometer Licence/WA Radiation Licence (highly desirable)
