**_ Here's an overview of our role:_**

The primary purpose of this role is to drive continuous design, develop and support all market and corporate functions. This includes project and product line initiatives delivery, operational support and system enhancements. There is a rotational 24x7 on-call support component to this role.

**_ A little about you:_**
- experience in a similar Kafka Engineer role, along with full-stack development
- considerable system support and maintenance experience
- excellent people leadership and customer service delivery experience
- strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills and experience
- well rounded facilitation, negotiation and communication skills
- excellent stakeholder engagement experience

**_ Skills and qualifications you'll bring:_**
- relevant IT or business related degree, _along with_
- Electricity and Gas markets experience desirable
- experience with the following; DevOps model, Integration Best Practices, Application Architecture
- the role integration plays **|**integration tools e.g. webMethods, MuleSoft **|** hybrid integration solutions (i.e. iPaaS vs Cloud vs. On-Premise)
- SDLC in the context of agile delivery and experience in different agile delivery methodologies
- ITIL processes (service operations)
- technology trends (e.g. IoT, RPA, APIs, Data Analytics)
