We are a specialty cafe located in the vibrant Docklands area of Melbourne, seeking an experienced Kitchen Hand / Cafe All-Rounder to join our dynamic team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparation of food items, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients.
- Operating kitchen equipment, such as grills, ovens, and coffee machines.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and cafe area, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and sanitizing utensils.
- Assisting with food service, including plating and garnishing dishes, and preparing coffee and other beverages.
- Following food safety and handling procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Stock management, including receiving and storing food supplies, rotating inventory, and monitoring expiry dates.
- Providing exceptional customer service, including taking orders, handling payments, and maintaining a clean and welcoming cafe environment.
- Assisting with general cafe duties as required, including setting up and closing down the cafe, and assisting with special events or functions.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand or Cafe All-Rounder in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Flexibility to work on weekends, public holidays, and evenings as required.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic cafe environment.
