As Medical Science Liaison (MSL), Oncology your core focus will be to maximise Amgen’s value proposition through first-class medical and scientific engagement including projects, services, scientific programs, and expertise with solid tumours (GI & Thoracic). This is a national role where, as part of a cross functional team, you are given autonomy to build relationships and make a difference with the best and brightest in the field with therapies that bring hope and the potential to change lives.

Responsibilities include:

- Engage with healthcare stakeholders to educate and communicate clinical, economic and scientific data to advance the scientific platform aligned with Amgen’s goals and objectives
- Execute scientific engagement plans according to annual MSL goals and metrics
- Support speaker training as requested and ensure speakers are updated on new data
- Participate in project teams that support MSL strategies and tactics as delegated by MSL leadership
- Lead and support congress activities aligned with strategy
- Maintain clinical acumen and expertise and timely completion of assigned training. May serve as a training lead

- Minimum two years’ experience as an MSL **or** Oncology Pharmacist (solid tumours) critical
- Doctoral or Master’s degree in Sciences
- Five or more years focused on clinical practice, clinical research, or medical research. Experience in a medical-related field, this can include post-doctoral training (i.e., residencies and/or fellowships)
- Network of customer contacts across Australia favourable
- Knowledge of regulatory affairs, drug safety, legal and compliance environment
- Work rights and residency in Australia essential
