We are looking for a superstar Head Barista to work at our busy FreshPlus café in Lyle McEwin Hospital in Adelaide

We are looking for an energetic, flexible, and personable barista with proven experience in a similar role to join our team.

Fresh+ currently operate a large number of hospital cafés across NSW, QLD, and SA, providing food, beverages, and convenience retail to hospital staff and the general public.

**About the Role**

As Head Barista you will play an integral role in providing exceptional and efficient customer service to our patrons and regulars, alongside a passion for all things coffee

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Train new baristas in proper coffee preparation techniques, customer service, and store policies.
- Assign tasks, manage workflow, and ensure the team provides excellent customer service during peak hours.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for guests, ensuring the café is always inviting.
- Foster a customer-focused culture by encouraging staff to deliver high-quality service.
- Handle cash registers and ensure accurate transactions.
- Ability to work well under pressure
- 3+ years of experience in a café or hospitality environment as a barista preferred.
- Excellent communication and a team player.
- Understanding of operating and adjusting a coffee machine/grinder as required.
- Knowledge around food handling and safety.
- Great customer service skills and passion for coffee
