The Account Partner sits within the Residential Sales team. The Residential team are the driving force behind our flagship site,
- When you join the Resi team, you join a cross-functional group of folks representing product, IT, sales and marketing, supported by PR, communications, HR, finance, legal - all the people you need to create products our consumers love and customers value. With
being the number one destination for people interested in property in Australia, as you can imagine - the group of legends working on our little red house are very passionate about what they do.
What the role is all about
The Account Partner supports the Residential Sales team in the following ways:
- Nurture key customer base, ensuring they continually see the value of products
- Achieve revenue targets within defined territory, by identifying new opportunities, as well as taking advantage of opportunities provided by analytics
- Identify and close new opportunities in SPOT and protect existing customer relationships, by selling solutions not products to achieve revenue targets
- Ensure uptake of additional advertising products by all customers
- Identify gap fill initiatives to ensure target achievement
- Identify sales opportunities for other REA services, e.g. Media, Developer, Commercial etc and engage specialist sales resources as required to achieve the revenue targets
- Create dependence on agencies and agents on the services and training provided by REA
- Develop a systematic approach to the education and training of customers within designated territory, by ensuring that all customers can on-sell REA products to vendors including principals, agents, property managers, marketing and admin support
- Ensure maximum customer participation at REA sponsored events, training, competitions and Advantage program
- Minimise customer downgrades and cancellations (office closures excluded)
- Actively promote the use of REA services, tools and resources across the territory customer base
- Ensure that the quality of property listings meets the Acceptable Use Policy
- Ensure relevant performance data and analysis reporting is delivered to customers in a timely and convenient manner
Who we’re looking for
- Someone with a few runs on the board - Proven key account management, account management and sales experience and evidence of achieving sales targets essential
- Knowledge of property and marketing methods helpful
- Advertising and online experience highly desirable
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Previous use of CRM systems, Salesforce would be highly advantageous
- Looks at tricky situations through a solutions-focused lens
- Work productively in a fast paced and agile environment - #gsd (urban dictionary will help on this one
