**About the Role**
We are currently seeking a **Female Support Worker** to join our team in Sale. You will be working with young people with autism, including non-verbal clients, providing support that is compassionate, respectful, and empowering.

**Shift Hours**:
Monday to Friday - **9:00 AM to 4:00 PM**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide individualised support and some personal care using a positive, person-centred approach
- Encourage and promote client independence
- Assist clients with their emotional, psychological, cultural, and spiritual needs
- Support clients during activities and community participation
- Provide transport when required

**What We’re Looking For**
- Experience working with young people with autism (highly regarded)
- Experience supporting non-verbal young people
- Friendly, respectful, and willing to learn
- Strong relationship-building skills with clients and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

**Essential Requirements**
- Certificate III in Disability/Individual Support/Community or higher, OR 1+ year equivalent experience
- NDIS Worker’s Screening Check (or willingness to apply)
- Current driver’s licence and own vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Proof of Australian citizenship or valid working visa
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Fully COVID-19 vaccinated (including booster if eligible) or valid medical exemption
- Passion for working with people with disabilities and supporting independence

**Salary**: As per SCHADS Award, based on qualifications and experience
