We currently have a full time Gardener position available in our busy north eastern suburbs Jim’s Mowing Franchise, Jim’s Mowing Doncaster North.

Our work consists mainly of maintaining residential gardens and lawns for our large and varied customer base.

We are looking for a trustworthy, responsible and reliable person with good communication skills to join our close knit hard working team. You must be friendly and courteous and possess good physical fitness. Most importantly you must have an eye for detail and take pride in a job well done and be able to prepare, plant and maintain gardens.

On offer is a full-time, permanent role with above award annual salary of between $55,000-57,000.

The position requires that the successful applicant has:

- Sound knowledge of garden maintenance and horticultural practices with at least 3 years of industry experience;
- An AQF certificate-level qualification in horticulture;
- Experience using mowers, brush cutters, hedge trimmers, chain and handsaws and other gardening tools;
- Skilled at pruning, weeding, trimming, fertilizing, mowing, installing structures, and selecting materials and plants;
- Able to accurately and effectively diagnose and treat diseased trees and shrubs;
- Current manual drivers license and able to drive vehicles with trailer;
- Time management skills and the ability to achieve daily targets;
- Sound references
- The successful applicant will be need to supply a current Police check and will require a current Working With Children check before work can commence.
