**Fire Pump Service Technician**

**We are looking for a reliable and experienced Fire Pump Service Technician - Diesel mechanic **willing to migrate their skills and knowledge to service and maintain fire pump sets.

Roles:

- Carry out Routine Inspection and defect works for Pumps, Sprinkler Systems, Hydrants and Hose Reels
- Diagnostic and repairs of fire pump sets and panels.
- Ability to conduct major repairs and or re-build of fire pump sets.
- Testing in accordance with AS 1851-2012
- Carry out required flow tests for Automatic sprinkler & Hydrant Systems.
- Reporting on system defects though FireMate software (Training available)
- Assist other testing staff when required.
- Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships
- Undertake training on other fire equipment testing if required.
- Attending call-outs as per rostered requirements, including after hours roster.
- Determining job priorities and meeting deadlines with mínimal supervision.
- Coordinating, compiling, and submitting the necessary paperwork.

Skills and experience we require:

- Experience in the fire industry
- Sound Knowledge of Australian Standards
- Electrical licence is preferable.
- Current White Card
- EWP Licence
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a team
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills

**Salary**: $57,906.19 - $105,662.02 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

**Experience**:

- work: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- white card (preferred)
- Diesel mechanic licence (preferred)
