**The Opportunity**

We are on the lookout for an experienced **Lead Mechanical Designer** to join our Head Office team located in Ascot, WA to work cross a number of significant projects. You will coordinate the design across all disciplines, prepare designs and take control of the overall plant layout in accordance with the schedule, project design criteria and drafting management plan.

**On a typical day, you will**:

- Develop and lead a team of 20 - 30 designers and drafters
- Manage design drafting resources assigned to allocated projects to achieve agreed deliverables
- Work collaboratively with all project disciplines and key stakeholders
- Produce plant layouts from preliminary project data and design information

**What we are looking for**:

- Extensive experience as a Mechanical designer working across wet and dry mineral processing plants
- Demonstrated experience leading a team of Mechanical Designers
- High degree of proficiency in Software experience
