**The details**:

- Permanent Full Time | 9 day fortnight
- $67,642 pa (includes industry allowance and uniform allowance) + 12% super (level 3)
- 76 hour fortnight
- Location: Caboolture

Work as part of our Roads and Drains team and take on a vital role in one of our asphalt crews. In this hands-on position, you'll contribute to essential road maintenance and repair operations, ensuring the safety and quality of our local infrastructure.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- performing road remediation tasks including pothole patching, edge repairs, road failure rectification
- operating a variety of hand tools and mechanical equipment
- handling asphalt truck operations and assisting with driving duties as needed
- working as part of a team

**About you**

Ideally you will have demonstrated recent experience in road maintenance or construction, working with asphalt. We'll also need you to have:

- a current truck licence (medium rigid - MR class or higher)
- a Construction Induction card - _or willingness to obtain prior to commencement_
- ability to proficiently use hand tools and mechanical equipment as relevant to the position
- strong teamwork abilities and a collaborative mindset and;
- solid communication skills to effectively communicate with others
