**About the Opportunity**
The workshop is located in **Pittsworth**, where you will be hosted with a Kleint Industries, a company that specialise in large diameter drill rig and equipment manufacture, modification and compliance upgrades.
Undertaking this four-year Apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to become a qualified Boilermaker and earn your **(MEM30319)** -** **Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication (**Boilermaking**).**
You will get to learn all aspects of Boiler Making including welding, fabrication, cutting and shaping of various metals while working in a drill rig and equipment manufacturing and modification workshop with experienced tradespeople.
Working under the direction of the qualified supervisors, your duties will include:
- Reading and working off technical drawings
- Cutting and prepping material for fabrication and assembly
- Produce high end quality items - Must be millimetre perfect
- Assist with equipment manufacture, modification and compliance upgrades across a range of metal finishes
- Learning to work with a variety of metal fabrication machinery
- General hand tool work such as sanding, grinding, cutting, polishing, drilling, etc
- Tacking and welding
- Material handling
**About You**
- Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
- A team player who is willing to listen, learn and follow instructions
- Good communication skills
- An eye for detail and Safety conscious
- Well presented
- Punctual and reliable
- Ability to perform manual handling duties, including frequently lifting up to 15kgs
- Attention to detail and a mechanical aptitude
- A Certificate II in Engineering or some previous experience will be well regarded
- Be up to date with or willing to get COVID-19 vaccinations
- Manual driver licence
