**About the role**

We’re seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Aboriginal Studies students by joining our team of teachers on a permanent full-time basis, located at Eora Campus, occasional travel may be required.

In this role you will deliver educational programs and facilitate learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes. As an Aboriginal Studies Teacher, you will proudly teach and inspire students to connect with the oldest living culture on Earth. Together, you will explore Aboriginal history, gain a deeper understanding of the present, and build skills to advocate for positive change. Through engaging lessons and community connections, you will empower students to respect cultural protocols, understand the impacts of intergenerational trauma, and grow as culturally aware professionals ready to make a difference.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Have a minimum of three (3) years post qualification experience relevant to your industry

Highly regarded but not essential:

- Certificate III in Mentoring Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander People or be willing to obtain.
- Is a team player and a collaborative worker.
- Applicants for this position must be Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, identify as being Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, and be accepted in the community as such. An applicant's race is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised under Section 14(d) of the NSW Anti-Discrimination Act 1977. Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants will be required to provide Confirmation of Aboriginality documentation at or before interview. _
